Thailand Trip . . .

dont ask me why, i dun know why my bro looked like he's having an affair with the wooden elephant too ~ ! . . look at his face la ~~ hahaa . .

the table set of the elephant chair . . the table got carvings . . somome its like got 3D effect ~! nice to see and display la . . but not nice to serve as dining table purpose . .

u can actually imagine how high and huge is this piece of wood is ! and if i din remember wrongly la, i think it cost more than 1k ~ . . *ignore my sis trying to stick to the "wall" * . .

3D effect wood 'painting' . . If u could c the explanation board in front of it, it actually wrote " 2 veteran craftsmen contributed their skills and worked for 9 months to present the masterpiece. This is 1 piece of teak wood measuring 105" thick and 6" thick . " Such a big masterpiece, and its carved right from just 1 huge wood . . wow !

Dont let the no-cushion-uncomfortable feeling fool u with this wooden rocking chair leh , it's actually very very comfortable !!





2nd destination : The Grand Palace ( พระบรมมหาราชวัง, Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang ) and Wat Phra Khew. Wat Phra Khew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is adjoined with the Grand Palace. So, it made the visit to Grand Palace a very long day and we din manage to walk the entire compound. There were so many building and museums inside ! Went to Coin Museum, Weapon Museum, King's Museum . . so many.. eventually of cuz, we got bored and tired and went out la.. kakaka. . Grand Palace was once the official resident of the Kings, but now they shifted into a new one cause there was 1 king who died in the palace, and according to them, its a bad omen la.. so they shifted out ... all this info, got it from the tour guide la.. hahaha ~ =p

walking into the Grand Palace. . this is just the front side of the Palace, or like the garden in front of ur house la.. but like 10000000 times bigger.. or mayb less than that la.. kakaka . . .

still at the entrance of the Grand Palace . . So hot ar that day , thats y face are all cover up . . with hats la . .kakaka . . .

finally !! reached the ticket counter ~ !! . . O.o ! really big ok the place. . . i've forgotten how much it costs la . kakaka . . =p

oh yeah, because Wat Phra Kaew is the most important temple in Thailand, u have to obey their dress code while visiting la, basically its like the dress code we have here la, no short pants , no sleeveless, no miniskirts etc etc... If u're wearing short pants/skirts, u can actually loan from the place to cover up ur sexxxxaaayy legs . . like the ang mo from the pic la... kakaka . .
